Paper Sweeties November Release Sneak Peeks

Wednesday, November 12, 2014

Hi, friends!  I had such fun sharing a few projects inspired by Paper Sweeties' release last month.  So, you can imagine my excitement to have been asked back to help show off the November Release this month, too.  Eeek!  Debbie has whipped up a heap of goodies, for you all, this go around, including four new stamp sets and two coordinating dies.  So, let's just get started.  Shall we?  I'm sharing a sweet, new ensemble for the Sweeties Girls, I Love You, as well as a peek of Happy Holidays today.  Enjoy!
I started this card by trimming the left side of a piece of pink, stripe, patterned paper with a strip of multicolored, heart, patterned paper and anchoring them to the White, cardstock, card face with white-threaded, straight, machine stitches.  I then secured a "blessings" journaling card, which I colored in with pencils, in the same way and stamped it, in Island Indigo ink, with the "I {heart} YOU" sentiment and, in Jet Black ink, with the Christmas scene, which, too, was colored in with pencils.
The space between the two patterned papers was trimmed with a bit of white lace and wrapped with a length of Bubblegum seam binding ribbon, tied in a double bow and embellished with a bit of teal ribbon, as well as a chipboard heart, which was painted with Titanium White acrylic paint, ink distressed, glittered, and backed with a bit of white chord, tied in a bow.
Abigail was then stamped, in Jet Black ink, on White cardstock; colored with pencils; and dressed in a paper-pieced and hand-cut, White cardstock and teal, polka dot nightie.
Her bunny was stamped, in Jet Black ink, on a pink, diamond, patterned paper, hand-cut out, and secured over the stamped, on a hand-cut, vellum banner, in Jet Black ink, "SOME BUNNY LOVES YOU" sentiment.  A bit of glitter for Abigail's slippers, as well as for the Christmas tree, completes the look.
That gets us started, folks.  Please be sure to stop by all the hard-working designers' blogs below, and thanks, as always, for stopping by my little neck of the woods!  Hope to see you all right back here, at the same time, tomorrow.  Hugs!
