I started this card by piecing a trio of patterned papers together; stamping them, in second-generation, Chocolate Chip ink, with the coffee stains; and anchoring them, to the Oatmeal, cardstock, card face, with mustard-threaded, straight and zig-zag, machine stitches.
I then stamped the bottom center of a tag, die cut from watercolor paper, in Jet Black ink, with the "SENDING A CUPPA love" sentiment. I don't have Delightful Dijon ink, so I stamped the mug in second-generation, More Mustard ink and added a touch more color back with a watercolor brush. I think it turned out perfectly, especially as More Mustard was stamping far too orange. It was then topped with stamped, in Jet Black ink, steam lines, before being backed with a tangle of mustard thread; adhered, with foam tape, in its respective location...
and topped with a length of seam binding ribbon, tied in a double bow and embellished with an ivory button, laced with a hemp twine bow, as well as an acrylic leaf.
Further inspiration for this card came from the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop...
and here's this week's Creative Challenge No. 91 graphic to get you going in the right direction.
