I started this card by stamping the bottom right corner of a piece of Whisper White cardstock, in Soft Suede ink, with the "Grateful GREETINGS" sentiment; debossing the piece with tiny polka dots; and trimming its left side with a piece of hand-cut, burgundy, polka dot, patterned paper, as well as a strip of yellow, stripe, patterned paper. The entire thing was then anchored, to the White, cardstock, card face, with gold-threaded, straight, machine stitches.
The top edge of the card face was then wrapped with a length of twine, tied, in a bow, just left of vertical center.
Both the small and large leaves were stamped in Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede, & Chocolate Chip inks, on White cardstock, using the brown inks not only for the foundation of some of the leaves themselves, but also to ink the edges. All of the leaves were then hand-cut out and scattered, with a trio of gold, sequin leaves, along the hand-cut and stitched arch of the burgundy, polka dot, patterned paper, to complete the look.
