Happy Everything

Hey, y'all!  I'm back to share a card that's making its way to my brother-in-law right now.  He's got a birthday on Friday, but I don't think I need to worry about him seeing it here before it arrives in his mailbox, as he's not a regular visitor to my blog.  Plus, I had to post it a little early, because I didn't want to miss my first time playing with the challenge below.
I started this card by smearing Peeled Paint Distress Ink, through a stencil, onto a piece of White cardstock.  I then strategically placed another stencil over that and smeared Faded Jeans Distress Ink through it to create a modern take on an argyle background.  It was then framed with more White cardstock, as well as silver-threaded, straight, machine stitches.  The White, cardstock, card face was then smudged with Patina Glimmer mist, while both pieces were sprinkled with Pure Black and Titanium White acrylic paints, as well as Tinsel Color Shine.  The stenciled piece was then secured, over a tangle of silver thread, with foam tape, near the bottom left corner of the card face.
The "happy EVERYTHING" sentiment was silver-embossed on a strip of Black cardstock and anchored, to the card face, just below horizontal center, with silver-threaded, straight, machine stitches, running around the edges of the card face itself.  A sprinkling of silver and star sequins complete the look.
Inspiration for this card came from Time Out's Challenge #44, which is a CASE of this card.
I'll be back tomorrow with a girly, new palette from Colour Me...!  Until then, thanks so much for visiting, and have a terrific Tuesday!
