Reverse Confetti New Release Blog Hop

Sunday, November 8, 2015

Note: This is my second post today.  If you've come here looking for my The Studio Fall Challenge post, please scroll down.

Today's the big day, friends!  All the new, November, Reverse Confetti goodies you've seen here are now available in the Reverse Confetti Store.
But before you're off to getting 'em while they're hot, if you haven't done so already, I've got one final creation to share as part of the New Release Hop.  You should have come here via my sweet friend Amy Kolling, but if you didn't or got lost somewhere along the way, you can find a complete list of hop participants on the Reverse Confetti Blog.  So, let's get started.  Shall we?
I started this card by piecing a couple of patterned papers onto the White, cardstock, card face; trimming their connection with a bit of aqua, ribbon trim; and anchoring everything with bright-pink-threaded, straight, machine stitching.  I then used that fun, Gift Card Holder Tag Confetti Cuts die to make a window tag by cutting the front panel from a multicolored, polka dot, patterned paper and the back panel from a bit of White cardstock, which I stamped, in both Pool Party and Coastal Cabana inks, with the Jolly Holiday snowflakes.  A bit of clear cardstock was pink-embossed with the "FOR MY sweet FRIEND" sentiment and fitted just behind the front panel to protect all those scrumptious sequins and seed beads.
A happy mix of ribbon scraps embellishes the top edge to complete the look.
And one more shot of all those fabulous goodies, just for fun.  I even threw in a few Jolly Holiday, die-cut from Pool Party cardstock, flakes for good measure.
Further inspiration for this card came from House of Cards' November Challenge: Stamped and Cut Window Technique...
and Jennifer McGuire's Share Handmade Kindness Challenge Week 1: Friends & Family.  This one is on its way to a dear friend who simply can't hear enough how much she means to me.
Thank you so much for the warm welcome you've given me throughout this release!  I have had such a great time and enjoyed seeing and meeting so many new faces!  Now, off you go to the uber inspiring Heather Pulvirenti to continue your hop.  Be blessed!
