Healthy Valentine's Day Treats

Saturday, February 13, 2016

Welcome to the weekend, y'all!  Just popping in, before we're off to basketball games, with some healthy, Valentine's Day treats we put together for Adina's team.  I'm not sure how we got signed up to bring treats the day before Valentine's Day, but with my hubby in charge, lots of crazy things happen.  Tee hee!  Most of the parents just purchase a ticket or two for each team member, which buys all kinds of things, from popcorn to Gatorade, in the Upward store.  The girls love this!  But being as it is nearly a special day, we thought we'd go one step further and made these.
I picked the little, cellophane bags up at Hobby Lobby, but they were nearly 12 inches long.  I cut them down to seven inches with my paper trimmer; stuffed them with a couple of Cuties; and secured them shut with a bit of ribbon, tied in a bow.  The "ORANGE YOU GLAD" tags are a free printable from Craftaholics Anonymous, which I just printed on plain, white cardstock; hand-cut out; and laced with Baker's Twine.
That same length of Baker's twine was also thread through one of the tickets I mentioned above, which I just punched with a tiny hole (We couldn't do without one of those entirely.), as well as a die-cut, from Real Red cardstock, open heart as per Adina's request, and tucked under the knotted ribbon to complete the look.
Super simple and delicious to boot!  Thanks so much for peeking in!  Have a blessed weekend!  Hugs!
