Paper Sweeties June Release Party

Welcome back, y'all!  Just popping back in to share a little more from Paper Sweeties' June Release.

I started this card by rounding the top corners of a watercolor paper, card base and watercoloring and splattering it in shades of purple, green, and aqua.

Once that was dry, I used a star stencil to add a little texture with modeling paste; anchored a purple, polka dot print, across the bottom of the card face, with gold-threaded, straight, machine stitches; and topped that print with a length of Grape seam binding ribbon, straight from the Paper Sweeties Boutique, tied in a double bow and embellished with an ivory button, laced with a white, string bow, as well as a bit of white lace.

The "Celebrate!" sentiment was then stamped, in Jet Black ink, near the bottom right corner...

and topped with a Polaroid die cut, which was filled in with the stamped in Jet Black ink and watercolored cake, as well as the gold-embossed sparklers.  Both were stamped on White, cardstock die cuts, and the prior was embellished with both Clear Wink of Stella and a handful of blossom sequins.  A gold, "OOH LA LA" tag was tucked into the Polaroid, just to the left of the cake, to complete the look.

Further inspiration for this card came from the scrumptious watercolor palette in Inspired by All the Little Things' Challenge #19.
