Paper Sweeties June Release Rewind

Welcome back, once again, to Paper Sweeties' June Release week!  Everything you've seen here and throughout my temporary teammies' blogs is now available in the Paper Sweeties Boutique; but before you're off to picking up your June goodies, if you haven't done so already, I've got one more creation to share.  Enjoy!

I started this card by trimming the bottom edge of a light blue, floral print with a hand-cut strip of sandpaper.  I then anchored both papers, with white-threaded, straight, machine stitches, to a slightly larger piece of White cardstock.

With the exception of the bird nest, which was stamped, in Baked Brown Sugar ink, on a White cardstock die cut, all of my scene-building images were stamped in Jet Black ink on their respective prints and hand-cut out.  They all, too, were adhered with one or two layers thick of foam tape.  The coconuts also received a bit of shine with Glossy Accents.

I stacked the sunshine two thick; separated the layers with foam tape; and embellished the center with a yellow button, laced with white string.

Before adhering the entire scene, with foam tape, to the White, cardstock, card face, I stamped the "sending you sunshine" sentiment, in Jet Black ink, to complete the look.
