PLS Pinterest Inspired: Happy 1st Birthday

Tuesday, April 25, 2017

Hey, y'all!  Just popping in to share a card that's up on the Pretty Little Studio blog this am.  I was drawn to the sweet treats and scrumptious, mint color in the Pinterest photo below and decided to get ready for my niece's first birthday a little early.  Enjoy!
I started her card by piecing, from top to bottom, our Posh print, overlaid with Clear Roses; Gold Metallic Pebbles; and that yummy, mint Blue Bells, all anchored, with gold-threaded, straight, machine stitching, to a white, cardstock, card face.  The bottom print was then stamped, in Jet Black ink, with the "happy BIRTHDAY" sentiment...
and the center strip was wrapped with a length of white, seam binding ribbon, tied in a double bow and embellished with a pink button, laced with white string, tied in a bow.
Everything was then topped with the shop's darling Baby Kara Vintage Die Cut, not to mention a Gold Metallic Number Die Cut, both of which were popped up with foam tape, to complete the look.
And here's that Pinterest photo that inspired it all.
Thanks for humbling me with a visit!  Have a terrific Tuesday, friends!
