Friday Faves

Friday, September 29, 2017

I think that I can now safely say welcome to the weekend, y'all!  Ready or not, October is just two days away; and I cannot tell you how ready I am for this cooler, fall weather we've been having to stay put.  Because today is the final Friday of September, I have my list of things that have captured my attention throughout the month to share today.  So, let's get things rolling with Technique Tuesday's Echinacea Greenhouse Society stamp set.  I adore the playful way the petals curl in this image, and the sentiments couldn't be any more perfect... great fonts; and even greater, not to mention super useful, phrases.
SugarPea Designs Koalaty Time Stamptember Exclusive, over at Simon Says Stamp, steals the cuteness factor for the month.  Good grief!  Those little faces are beyond precious!
Wreath images have always been a favorite of mine, so I had to include Concord and 9th's Magnolia Wreath Bundle.  All the layering, stamping, and die-cutting possibilities here make this one perfect for all papercrafting personalities.
It seems a little early to be talking about winter papercrafts, but I couldn't resist including Echo Park's A Perfect Winter 12x12 Collection.  From the color palette and woodland creatures to the woodgrain and polka dot elements, this pretty, little package has my name all over it; and I adore the quirkiness the floral prints bring to the table.

This is such a great collection that, despite all the darling, chipboard bits; journaling options; and playful trims included in the kit itself, I'm throwing in the Ephemera package, too.  Did I mention gingham above?  Swoon!
I had the opportunity to visit The Pioneer Woman Mercantile for the first time earlier this month.  Yay!  It's been something I've wanted to do for the longest time; and while I still have mixed emotions about the whole thing (Maybe I just amped it up too much in my mind.), I did enjoy bringing home some treasures from my trip.  I couldn't find an image or a link to share of my gorgeous, floral, measuring cups; but this stunning Mackenzie-Childs Floral Cake Carrier totally caught my eye.  It would've been in my basket had it not been a whopping $170.  Good gravy!  So, I had to make up excuses not to get it, y'all; because, well, money doesn't grow on trees.  I purchased her Timeless Beauty 10" Cake Stand with Glass Cover, from Walmart, just under a year ago and had to return it; because it was too small around for the cake my 9" pans bake.  This one looks small, too.  Right?!  Just say it does ;).
I like to keep all of the things that I carry in what my sister-in-law coined my "Mary Poppins bag" in small, zippered pouches; but on almost a daily basis, I wish those smaller bags were see-through, as I can't ever locate what I'm looking for within the bags themselves, not to mention that Kaden can't ever remember which one his snack bag is without spilling the contents of each one all over the place.  Needless to say, these Zippered Vinyl & Mesh Pouches, from The Container Store, are dutifully wrapping things up for this month.  LOVE!
I hope you all have found something to love here today, too.  Thanks so much for peeking!  Have a truly amazing weekend, friends!
