Pretty Little Studio: Happiest Wishes to You

Saturday, July 28, 2018

Morning, y'all!  I'm up on the Pretty Little Studio blog today, sharing the sweet, birthday card I made for my niece's second birthday; and I'd love to share it, with you all, here, too.  Enjoy!
I started this card by die-cutting the flowers and spots from a 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" white, cardstock, card face, which had its bottom corners rounded, and backing it with the playful, multicolored, stars, patterned print.  I then stamped the edges of the card face, in Jet Black ink, with the repeated "happiest wishes to you" sentiment, placing a star between each repetition.
A Lady Mini Vintage Die Cut, paired with a Spring Fling Animal Die Cut, takes center stage, popped up with foam tape, near bottom center of the design.  A "celebrate" Happy Day Color Sticker was tucked under their combined right edge, and a couple of Baker's Twine strings fall into place behind them.
The opposite ends of those Baker's Twine strings were tucked behind two balloons, which were die-cut from Rose Bed and Blue Sky prints respectively and popped up with foam tape.  A couple of Baker's Twine bows and a happy mix of Crystal 8 mm, Primrose Mix, and Falling Leaves Mix Sequins complete the look.
Thanks so much for visiting!  Have a wonderful weekend, friends!
