Paper Sweeties September Release Rewind

Saturday, September 15, 2018

Today marks the close of Paper Sweeties' September Release, which means there's a new goodie awaiting you in the Paper Sweeties Shop.  But before you're off to picking yours up today, if you haven't done so already, I've got one more creation, boasting more images and another sentiment from I'm So Proud of You, for you all, today.
I started this card by stamping all the images, from both You Add Color to My Life and I'm So Proud of You, in Jet Black ink, across a piece of watercolor paper.  I then watercolored it, including a soft shadow to create depth around each image (Although, that isn't showing up well in these photos.); split the panel at an angle; and anchored the two resulting pieces, with bright-pink-threaded, straight, machine stitching, to the Melon Mambo, cardstock, card face.
The split in the watercolored panel created a background to help the white-embossed, "You're a Class Act" sentiment really pop.
Thanks, as always, for humbling me with a visit!  Be sure to check in with the rest of these talented team, too; and until next month, be blessed!
