Paper Sweeties September Release Sneak Peek

Thursday, September 13, 2018

Evening, y'all!  Paper Sweeties' September Release is here; and we're kicking things off tonight with a few sneak peeks of a darling, new, stamp set, I'm So Proud of You.  So, let's just get right to how it inspired me.  Shall we?
I started this card by stamping the ruler, in Jet Black ink, lots of times, over a soft gray, diamond, patterned print.  I then framed it with Ruby Red cardstock and anchored it, with silver-threaded, straight, machine stitching, to the white, cardstock, card face.
A wide strip of multicolored, numbers print was secured, with more of that scrumptious, silver-threaded, straight, machine stitching, across the horizontal center of the card face and wrapped with a length of Frosting seam binding ribbon, straight from the Paper Sweeties Shop.  The ribbon itself was tied in a double bow and embellished with an ivory button, laced with Baker's Twine, tied in a bow.
Madison was then stamped, in Jet Black ink, on watercolor paper; watercolored; detailed with a white Gelly Roll Pen; and dressed with a denim, patterned, paper skirt and watercolored sweater, both of which were stamped in Jet Black ink and hand-cut out.  The sweater was also stamped, in Jet Black ink, with the apple, which was watercolored and given a little shimmer and shine with both Clear Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents.  She was then die-cut using the Oval Scallop Frames Sweet Cuts die; framed with a turquoise, stripe, patterned paper, die-cut using that same Sweet Cuts die; and popped up, with foam tape, in the center of the card face, just to the right of the embellished ribbon, to complete the look.
Thanks so much for visiting, friends!  Be sure to stop in to see what the rest of the designers have whipped up just for your viewing pleasure.  Then, I'll be back, at the same time and place tomorrow, to share more of what I'm So Proud of You can do.  Hope to see you then!  And to those of you on the east coast, stay safe!  You're in my thoughts and prayers.  Hugs!
