Paper Sweeties Winter Inspiration Day 2

Monday, January 14, 2019

Evening, y'all!  Just stopping back in with another Paper Sweeties card trio to keep the Winter Inspiration flowing.  Enjoy!
Let's get a little up close and personal.  Shall we?
I started this card by watercoloring a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of watercolor paper in shades of blue, green, and pink.  Once it was dry, I stamped a trio of packages, from the Let's Party and Snow Time stamp sets respectively, in London Fog ink, across the background; framed it with Pacific Point cardstock and silver-threaded, straight, machine stitching; and popped it up, with foam tape, off the surface of the white, cardstock, card face.  I then stamped the "Let's Party!" sentiment, in Jet Black ink, on a Sweet Borders, die-cut, vellum pennant...
tucked under the right side of a stamped, in Jet Black ink, on a watercolor paper die cut and watercolored lollipop.  A little Glossy Accents brings a dose of shine to the lollipop, which comes from the same Let's Party stamp set mentioned above and was popped up, with foam tape, off the surface of a For You, die-cut, patterned, print tag.
In turn, the tag was popped up, with foam tape, in the center of the prepped card face and over a snippet of cheesecloth for texture.  A length of white string, laced through the tag itself and tied in a bow, as well as a sprinkling of Cupcake Sequins, completes the look.
The second card...
was made in the same way as the first with the exception of swapping the Pacific Point, cardstock frame for a Pool Party, cardstock frame...
and a different patterned print was chosen for the die-cut tag, not to mention a soft green watercolor for the lollipop...
and Merry and Bright sequins to complete the look.
The third and final card...
was designed and created in the same way as the two above.  It, too, however, uses Strawberry Slush cardstock rather than either of the two used above...
as well as a different patterned print for the die-cut tag; pretty pink watercolor for the lollipop...
and Bubblegum sequins to wrap things up in style.
That covers things for today.  I ran out of time and steam to continue making multiple cards for Day 3 of our Winter Inspiration series; but I will be back, tomorrow, with one final creation to wrap things up with style.  Until then, thanks so much for humbling me with a visit; and please be sure to stop by to see what my teammates have cooked up, just for your viewing pleasure, as well.  Hugs!
