Paper Sweeties March Release Sneak Peek

Wednesday, March 13, 2019

Hey, y'all!  I trust you're all having a wonderful week so far.  We're in our last week of school before spring break, and it simply cannot come soon enough.  I'm exhausted and sooo ready for a break from the day to day; but getting to play with a brand spankin' new, Paper Sweeties stamp and coordinating die set recently has brought some life back into that routine.  Woohoo!  The Design Team is so excited to be introducing Get Well over the next few days.  Enjoy!
I started this card by anchoring a berry print with a teal, chevron, patterned paper and anchoring them both, with navy-threaded, straight, machine stitching, to both a Not Quite Navy, cardstock frame and the white, cardstock, card face.  I then stamped a watercolor paper For You Sweet Cuts tag, in Jet Black ink with the sunshine, from Somewhere Over the Rainbow, and the "feel better" sentiment from the new, Get Well stamp set.
The space between them was filled with the floral basket and tissue box, both of which were stamped, in Jet Black ink, on watercolor paper and watercolored.  The later was then die-cut with the new, coordinating, Get Well Sweet Cuts die; but the basket was hand-cut out, before they both were popped up with foam tape.
All the images received a healthy dose of Clear Wink of Stella, before dressing up the tag with hemp twine, tied in a bow, and a length of Frosting seam binding ribbon, tied in a double bow and embellished with a single pearl, and popping it off the center of the card face with foam tape.
Thanks, as always, for visiting!  I hope to see you all right back here, at the same time, tomorrow.  Be blessed!

Maria Patrick
