Happy Sunday, y'all! I trust that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are prepping for a blessed, Christmas season. Before my family and I get in over our heads in that prep work, I wanted to share a page that I had up on the Pretty Little Studio blog late last week for our week of Thanksgiving Day projects. Enjoy!
I started this page by adding puddles of yellow and bright pink watercolors to the 12" x 12" watercolor paper, base page. I then splattered it with those same shades of watercolor, as well as orange, green, and purple watercolors and Pure Black and Titanium White, acrylic paints. While everything was drying, I Cameo-cut our Fall Leaves Cut File from textured, white cardstock and backed it with the Indian Summer: Fall Sunset print. It was then topped with my photo, which was matted with white cardstock and backed with a trio of prints, including Potpourri: Acorn Granola and Pile of Leaves and Fun in the Sun: Coral Sand, as well as a folded piece of the Feels Like Fall: Feeling Warm Gold Metallic Vellum print, Potpourri: I Love Fall Clear paper, and a snippet of cheesecloth for texture. Before anchoring most of those prints with gold-threaded, straight, machine stitching, I tucked an Ain't Life Grand: Easy Breezy Shipping Tag, laced with white string, tied in a bow, into the right side of those prints and topped it with a Dream Big: Courage Flair Button.
The top, left corner of my photo was topped with two Beautiful Day: Happy Tickets, as well as an itty bitty, Indian Summer: Goodbye Summer Die-Cut heart, all secured in place with a simple staple.
A Woodland: Rose Bush Tab, which was topped with an April 2019 Freebie butterfly and backed with an Indian Summer: Happy Place Die-Cut basket, holds my 2019 date and crowns my design...
while a quartet of phrases, including a Love Clear Word, anchored with a trio of staples; Indian Summer: Inline Alpha Clear Stickers to spell my "THANKSGIVING" title; and a couple of Indian Summer Goodbye Summer Die-Cuts, ground it and complete the look.
Thanks so much for visiting, friends! Have a wonderful week! XOXO
